It’s day two of our September Smoothie Challenge and I’m loving it. This morning I had a strawberry, spinach, banana, blueberry smoothie. Frozen and fresh fruit with pure water…no added sweeteners. Delicious!!!
I’ve had a great time reading all the testimonies that are already rolling in. Thank you to all the ladies who have already started posting recipes to our “Meal Planning and Recipes” board within our online community, www.blackwomenlosingweight.com.
Today I want to share a few recipes links, but first I want to encourage you to watch the movie “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” for Free online here. I think it really shows how you can transform your health and clean up your diet with juicing and drinking healthy smoothies.
In the movie, Joe Cross takes you through his journey from illness to health. He is at the end of his rope and dealing with serious health problems when he decides that there must be a new way. Dropping the junk food and the standard western diet, he trusts his body to heal itself with the power of fresh fruit and vegetable juice over the course of 60 days and as he travels across 3,000 miles. I know a number of Black Women Losing Weight Community members has seen the film and posted about it on our site and Facebook page. I think you will enjoy it. AND…what do you have to lose…the movie is free.
