too am from Louisiana, and I have also gained a considerable amount of weight following g the death of my parents. I now have embraced a more active lifestyle, and healthy diet, and am also starting to lose weight. Your story has motivated me even more! Thanks for the motivation ! You look great!

All I can say is wow, I read a lot of weight loss stories, actually it a hobby that keeps me going & I am on a weight loss journey as well. I will get specific on what in your story has educated me, the eating clean part, most ppl say they eat clean but they don’t say what exactly their eating…I also workout very hard but my down fall is the eating piece. Thank you very much 4 your story, it has helped me & hopefully you’ll be reading my story within the near future…Thanks again for your story.

Darlene, your story or shall I say your victory has definitely inspired me. I would describe myself as a weight loss failure for the past 20+ years. I love how you fully disclosed your obstacles, triumphs, and continued perseverance. The part of your story that applied to me the most was the comment about how you favored Loretta D. I am 42 years old and weigh 223lbs at 5 foot 7 inches. I will use your story to encourage myself. I want to be around and play with my grandkids and not complain about aching knees and back pain.
