Yummy, Yummy and Yummy. You’ve got to try this great green smoothie recipe if you are a cranberry lover.
Like all berries, fresh cranberries are high in antioxidants and low in sugar. When combined with strawberries and spinach, this bright red drink is a powerful disease fighter that is also amazingly satisfying. Fresh or frozen cranberries are ideal; dried are full of sugar and over processed.
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 banana
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 orange (peeled)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 tablespoons walnuts (use raw, unroasted walnuts if you can get them)
Add the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Tip: If you have a smaller blender, add everything but the berries and blend till smooth, then add the berries and blend again.
