What was your motivation?
My motivation to lose weight and get the Gastric Sleeve procedure done is my kids and myself. So far to date, I have lost 100+ pounds. I always remind myself that my journey is my journey and everybody else’s journey is theirs.
I try to eat as healthy as possible – high protein and no carbs. I am also learning to love myself again. Through this process, I have learned that Rome was not built overnight. This is not a sprint; it’s a marathon.
When did you have weight loss surgery?
It took five years for me to decide to change my life. I decided to have Gastric Sleeve weight loss surgery in Feb 2018.
What are some of your favorite healthy foods?
Some of my favorite healthy foods are salad, chicken, and veggies.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I work out and lift weights 3-5 days a week. In addition, I do an at-home routine every day.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 320 pounds, and my current weight is 213 pounds.

I am 5’2″.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice to other women is to believe in themselves and stay consistent.
