Dandelion Greens
Yes, those yellow flowers often considered a weed that sprout up on lawns can be eaten- the leaves that is. Dandelion greens is actually quite a healthy food but don’t go plucking greens from your yard if it has been treated with any chemicals. You can find pre washed dandelion greens in many supermarkets these days, especially in the organic section. Adding a handful or two of these to your salad or green smoothies is a great way to get more nutrients and rotate your greens. These greens have more vitamin K than broccoli and easily outrank other leafy greens in terms of vitamin E content.
