LaToya lost 62 pounds. She adopted a low carb lifestyle and walked for exercise, gradually increasing her distance to 6 miles per walk. Her family is her motivation, but she also realized that change had to start with her.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was always my family. I wanted to get them healthy, but I knew it had to start with me first, so I kept at it!
How did you change your eating habits?
I do keto/ low carb.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I walk 3 to 4 times a week. I started with one mile and gradually increased my distance. I currently walk 6 miles.

I started around 260 pounds. I currently weigh 198 pounds.
