Roshawnga lost 37 pounds. Let’s show her some love! She overcame sickness and gives all the glory to God for her healing and greater health. Here is what she shared with us about her journey:
I wanted to share my testimony with you all! I thank God for giving me the strength to endure and change my life for the better! God is so amazing! The word of God is truth and it works! The question is, do you want to be made whole? Last year, I was given a bad report from the doctors. At that point I just began to speak and declare the word of God over my life! By Jesus stripes, I am healed and that I shall prosper in all things and be in health just as my soul prospers! I’m happy to say that I went back to the doctor earlier this year and they said they don’t know how but they were very encouraged by my labs and that everything looked great and normal!! And my kidney function was normal! The protein linkage had decreased significantly from my kidneys. They could not explain it , but I know that the Lord healed my body! Clamining my complete total healing in Jesus name! All they could say is”Keep doing what you are doing!” Because I truly believe the word and that every promise is yes and amen, it forced me to get up and make a change. Faith without works is dead. I started working out at the start of this year. Running is my thing. My goal was to be able to run a 5k. Now I’m training for a half marathon (13.1 miles)! I have embraced a new mind set and walking in my new thing in Jesus name! I started at 195 pounds and now I am at 158 pounds! I haven’t been in the 150’s since about 3 years ago! I love working out now! Even on my rest days I think I have to work out…lol. I try to eat healthy and watch my portion sizes too! 37 lbs gone and counting in Jesus name! #3John1:2 #Phillippians4:13#5K #halfmarathontraining #1Corinthians6:19 #gettingfitandhealthy #lifestyle #blackwomenlosingweight
