Robin lost 50 pounds. After experiencing a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2019, this mother of 2 decided it was time to start her transformation journey. Intermittent fasting and becoming a Pescatarian worked for her.
What was your motivation?
My motivation was to prove everyone wrong and let them know I could come back from my injury. I experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury in July 2019.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My two beautiful children will always keep me motivated, no matter what is going on.
How did you change your eating habits?
I began doing Intermittent Fasting and became a Pescatarian. I do not eat red meat or chicken, and I limit my intake of processed foods. I drink smoothies and eat soups and salads.
My fasting schedule is a little tricky, but I go into full detail on my blog. However, the majority of my weight loss came from doing a 36 hour fast once a week, alternating between 20:4 and 16:8 in between those fasts.
What is your workout routine?
From March to May, I was still unable to work out because of my injury. I’ve been walking three miles, 5-6 days a week since May 2020.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I started at 200 pounds, and today I weigh 150 pounds.

I started on March 29, 2020. It took me three months to reach 160 pounds.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that losing weight is all about mindset.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice would be that it’s ok not to be perfect.
