Today’s featured before and after weight loss story: Tiana lost over 100 pounds by watching her portion sizes and regular exercise over the course of 2 years. Here is what she had to say:
Hard work really does pay off. My fitness journey has been a very hard road to stay on, but when you can really see yourself change into a more fit and healthier person that’s a reward in itself. So, I just want to remind others that nothing is never impossible. Always go after what you want and that’s real.
I lost so far over 100 pounds. My motivation is just wanted to change. I wanted a new healthy lifestyle. I would always give up on losing weight. This time around I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it and in doing so, I totally changed my life for the better. I made my dreams a reality.
I just started to watch what I was eating and my portion sizes. I ate a lot of fruits and veggies. I also stuck to eating fish, chicken, shrimp and cut back more on my breads and other things. I workout 4 to 5 (sometimes 6) days a week. It took me about two years two lose the weight. I tore my Achilles during the first year, so I had to get surgery to repair it. That slowed my progress down but when I bounced back I was back at it hard.
