Today’s Inspiration: I want you to take a look at two videos this morning featuring 2 of my favorite Black health champions. One is from 112 year old chef Bernando LaPallo (He is 109 in the video). LaPallo attributes his health and longevity to a mostly vegetarian and raw food diet and various other natural and alternative health habits. The other is of the amazing Annette Larkins, an avid raw food vegan at 71. She was interviewed by the Tom Joyner Morning Show in this clip. These amazing people are two examples that show us how important healthy eating is to our longevity and that we can grow old without thinking that chronic disease is inevitable. They are Black Health Heroes to me.
