Keisha lost 75 pounds. She was determined to reverse diabetes, high blood pressure, and fatty liver disease and increase her fertility. She switched to a Keto diet and worked out five days a week.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was my hunger to live long and not die at an early age. What inspired me to keep going was my thoughts and my drive to reverse my diabetes, control my high blood pressure and reverse my fatty liver disease so that I can become fertile and conceive.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started a Vegan diet for 30 days and then switched to a Keto diet. I cut out starches, like potatoes, rice, beans, and bread.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I do a lot of HIIT (high-intensity interval training), LISS (low-intensity steady-state training), and circuit training.

I work out five days a week.

My starting weight was 340 pounds. I reached 260 pounds before getting pregnant. I currently weigh 265 pounds.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Start slow. Take it one day and 1 pound at a time. Have patience because losing weight doesn’t happen overnight.
