Nov 2015 Update: It’s been about a year and a half since we first featured Khadijah. She’s lost 57 pounds since that first feature is now down 103 pounds. “I’m officially down 103 pounds! I started at 268 pounds. Being 5 feet and 6 inches tall, it was time for a major change. I’m so stoked about this major milestone. Knowing that I can always improve my health and have longevity to spend more time with my family and nieces fuels my fire. I absolutely love being a health coach now that I know the journey of loosing weight and the determination that’s needs to be paired with it. I use Herbalife Nutritional supplements and have since the beginning (1 year & 8 months). It shows that when we eat healthy and intake vital nutrients results show up big time. I have fallen in love with eating clean while incorporating supplements and limiting junk food/unhealthy carbs. Doing this gives me insane, healthy energy so that I can beast through my workouts. Nov 2014 Update: We featured Khadijah back in May 2014 when she’d lost 46 pounds. She’s sent in this update to let us know that she’s now down a total of 88 pounds. Check out her update and find out what she’s been doing to stay on track with her weight loss goals.
So stoked about the progress I have obtained since being featured. Starting at 268 pounds, it was very tough and I had low energy. Now that I’m 188 pounds, I FEEL AMAZING!!!! My running and cardio have been taken to another level and my weight lifting is still pretty epic. My niece continues to be my motivation. I hope to inspire her to make healthy choices and incorporate exercise in her daily life as she continue to grow. I also do not plan on having my family bury me…which is common in today’s society.
Protein has become my BEST FRIEND along with nutritional supplements (Herbalife). I think it was super important for me to fuel my body with everything it needs and there was no way I could possibly devour it in food during the day. Safe to say it has worked great for me . Cardio 4 times a week and weight lifting 2 times a week has been the new physical fitness plan for me. Weight lifting use to occur more, but when a girl wants to shred…a girl wants to shred. 7 months…88 pounds gone and tons of inches left without a warning notice.
Did I ever believe I would be the girl that could tell the world this?! No! This just goes to show ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING is possible with focus, determination the will to give your greatest dreams all you’ve got.
