Name: Natalie Berrian Clark
Starting weight: 192 pounds
Current Weight: 170 pounds
Weight Lost: 22 lbs
What was your motivation?
My overall motivation for starting this journey was to be healthier. I was diagnosed with hypertension at 19 and have struggled to control it since. I’m looking forward to leading a healthier lifestyle and getting rid of the medications I’m currently taking.
What inspired you to start your weight loss journey?
My mother passed away from a heart attack four years ago. I’m staying true and positive on my journey, praying that this will allow me to enjoy many more years with my husband, children, grandchildren, and other family members.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started by making small lifestyle changes first and followed the healthy eating habits recommended by the Great @NutritionistGuru. Then, I began preparing healthier meals at home and cut back on eating out.
I stopped eating fried foods, fast foods, pork, beef, candy, and junk food. I also cut out alcohol and cheese and increased my water intake. Cheese is my favorite food, so excluding it from my diet was difficult. I also added more fruit, fiber, and veggies.
In the past, I used to drink approximately 50 ounces of water daily, if that. Today my minimum intake is from 85 to 100 ounces. That was a significant change for me.
These changes resulted from all the structure and essentials I learned on the Fitness on Fire program with Nutritionist Guru there to hold me accountable every day.
What was your workout routine?
I went to the gym 3 to 4 times a week, for 60 to 90 minutes a day, following the workout regimen provided by my online trainer, King of the Fire of the Fitness on Fire Online Training Program.
How long did your transformation take?
My total transformation took about five months. I started seeing some changes about 2 to 3 months into my journey. My family noticed the changes before I did.
I am not done yet. This is only the first phase of my journey, and I’m very motivated to continue with Fitness on Fire Online Training Program. The program provides more accountability. It also helps me to stay on track with eating the right foods and making sure I get that H2O in.
Nutritionist Guru and Fire provide a great support system for clients. Nutritionist Guru always encourages clients to be the best version of themselves. They are always ready and willing to address all questions or concerns and help you progress on your journey to reaching your ultimate goal.
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
I encourage others to be consistent and patient with the process. It takes time and effort to visualize and realize the results. Excess weight does not accumulate overnight, so losing it won’t happen overnight.
