Qushanta lost 48 pounds. This proud mom lost the weight and now wants to share her story to motivate others. Here is what she had to say:
Hi! I have a story and I want to share. I am a 30 year old mom. I was healthy but knew that I just needed to loose the weight. Lost 35 pounds by working hard. For exercise I went running, did strength training and drank LOTS of water! You can do it!! I did!!!!!! You can have education, the family you want, the success you want AND still be healthy!!
My Weight Loss Motivation: I was just tired of being overweight and not looking decent in my clothes.
Starting weight: I was 210 pounds.
Current weight: I now weight 162 pounds.
What did you eat to lose the weight?: I am on a high protein diet. I eat minimal fried foods and NO SWEETS. I am on a 1500 calorie a day eating plan. I also eat 6 times a day. I detox once a month and drink 100 oz of water every day.
What did you do in terms of exercise?: I do strength training, Zumba class and running about three times a week.
