D’Angela got results by working out and understanding how many calories she was consuming daily. Her journey began in January after she didn’t recognize herself in a photo from December.
Chelsea lost 70 pounds. She has been on her journey for two years, and we’ve followed her story since 2021. During her journey, she figured out what works for her, how to overcome emotional eating, and how to be consistent.
Transformation of the Day: Tamara lost 175 pounds by focusing on nutrition and exercise. After a visit to the ER due to leg swelling, she decided to do something about her high blood pressure and reduce her risk for stroke. She was also determined not to develop diabetes.

Tynesha lost 34 pounds with healthy food and exercise. My Sigma Gamma Rho soror was dealing with hyperthyroidism and high blood pressure. She decided to adopt a healthier lifestyle and change her relationship with food to decrease her risk for stroke or heart attack.

She maintained a specific daily calorie goal, worked out 3-5 days a week, and realized that it’s mind over matter.
