Weight Loss Story of the Day: Asjane’ lost 30 pounds. This young lady made a commitment to herself and did the work to change her lifestyle and reach her weight loss goal. Here is what she shared with us…

When I was younger I was always picked on because of my weight and for having a little sister that was skinny. I told myself that before my senior year of college I was going to make a change, so I gained the courage and lost 25 pounds. I can now say that I am in a better place in my life now and it all started with my weight loss.
My motivation was honestly the fact that I didn’t want to be uncomfortable in my body anymore. I was inspired by the women on your site (Black Weight Loss Success) actually lol. I changed my eating habits by cutting out all fried food and by drinking nothing but water. My starting weight was 195 pounds and I am now 165 pounds (my height is 5’4″) I’ve been going through my transformation since July of this year.
The advice that I would give anybody going through this journey is to not give up because it takes time. Also, only do it for you. My instagram is @_prettyfitgirl















She told me to first get rid of processed foods and sugar. I took her very seriously and stopped eating processed foods and replaced them with healthy fruits, vegetables and whole grains and lean protein. I immediately had more energy and stamina. She also taught how to get the most out of my workouts using high intensity interval training. I love it because you can get faster results in a shorter time. The personal training that I received has made me more fit, stronger and has developed my confidence. I began to accomplish more than what I thought I could in the past. I became stronger, healthier and I began to really get leaner. The training that I received provided the tools that I had been missing from my toolbox to guarantee my success.
