Yaya lost 100+ pounds. Depression, pre-diabetes, food addiction, and high blood pressure could not stop her. She was determined to turn her life around. She had gastric sleeve surgery in 2019, switched to a low carb lifestyle, and committed to working out.
Transformation of the Day: Shay lost 73 pounds. After both of her grandmothers pass away due to health issues, she was diagnosed with some of those same issues. My Sigma Gamma Rho soror decided to put herself first and make health her top priority. When the hospital where she works opened a weight management program, she joined and decided to have Gastric Sleeve surgery.
Linda lost 86 pounds. She had weight loss surgery in 2013 and lost 98 lbs. However, after having two children, she gained almost all the weight back. With Keto, exercise, and Intermittent Fasting, she released the weight and prioritized her health.
