Transformation of the Day: Bianca lost 68 pounds, going from a size 22 to a size 14. With dedication, consistency and prayer, she’s been able to change her body and her life. She took the time to share with us the simple, effective changes she made to lose the weight. She says, “I’m not losing weight, I’m getting RID of it and I have no intention of finding it again!”

I went from a size 22 to a size 14! I wasn’t going to post this, but I want to motivate others, so this is for the people who don’t believe in themselves. I want to tell you that if you have a vision of how you want your body to be, Work for it and it will come! Dedication and consistency in improving your lifestyle is all it takes! I don’t eat healthy all the time but I make sure that if I have a fatty meal, my next meal is healthy. I take it day by day, making healthier choices than before.
What inspired me when I wanted to give up was praying. For the past 2 years, I’ve kept the goal of not going more than 3 days without working out. On that third day, if I wasn’t motivated I prayed through my soreness. I would get up and get some kind of workout done, instead of sitting on the couch and thinking about what needs to be done.
I stopped drinking soda and eating fast food. I switched from ground beef to ground turkey. I also slowly added healthier habits to my life as I discovered what I could improve to be healthier, like stopping eating when I’m full, eating fruits and vegetables everyday and parking further away from the entrance when I went somewhere.
Over the past two years of beginning on my health and fitness journey, I’ve completed the Insanity 3 month program twice and did Zumba. I currently walk/jog 2 miles every Saturday, and complete 1 hour Pilates class at least twice a week. I also do a variety of squat and ab challenges I find online. I’ve also done a push-up challenge from BWLW’s page.
Over the course of changing my lifestyle to eating better, taking plant-based vitamins, and working out at least every 3 days, I have lost 68 pounds. I am 5’9″ tall and my starting weight was 304 pounds. I had a little access skin from being so big so I used a box of Itworks wraps along with defining gel and now my skin is tightening really well!
The advice I have for others: Exercise to be healthy and fit, Not skinny. Eat to nourish your body and always ignore the haters and doubters. “I” is the difference between FIT and FAT! It’s all up to you. I’m not losing weight, I’m getting RID of it and I have no intention of finding it again! No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch. You are so much better than you believe, if you want to change your body you can!
Believe in yourself and know that change is POSSIBLE. Work for the body you want and encourage YOURSELF. #motivated #healthy #changing #CantStop #WontStop

Weight loss can be one of the most challenging endeavors for women, no matter what their age. However, there is something about surpassing the age of 40 that makes what would normally feel like a challenge seem downright impossible. There are a number of factors at play after 40 – a slower metabolism, busier daily schedules and less mobility and flexibility. While it might seem hard to achieve, the fact is that weight loss is possible at any age. It comes down to knowing what works best for your body and how hard you are willing to work to achieve your fitness goals. It’s also about having reasonable goals and keeping health issues in mind.
I began working out by doing Zumba 4 days a week (one hour each class) and walking. I started eating right, cutting out soda and junk food (I may still eat a lil sometimes..lol). I drank lots of water and started eating more baked food, more fruit and more vegetables.
